Managed up to six individual brands and over 20 individual sales reps within the region. Drafted, negotiated, and executed annual business plans for rep firms and accounts. Accomplishments:
- Conceived and implemented the “Engineered to Rock” sales program in 2006. Engineered to Rock increased sales of Rockford Fosgate wiring kits by 25% YOY vs. 2005. Engineered to Rock proved so effective it was instrumental in retaining this market share in its second year and continues to do so today.
- Conceived and implemented “The Wall-O-Bass” program in 2006. Wall-O-Bass allows specialty retail accounts to easily demonstrate the superiority of Rockford Fosgate products to consumers. Wall-O-Bass gained world-wide acceptance, has had many variants, and is now a staple of the brand’s culture.
- Conceived and put on “The Power Challenge” in five cities between 2005 and 2007. These events utilized engineering resources in a sales capacity to prove the superiority of Rockford Fosgate amplifiers when compared to the competition. Two of these events generated in excess of $25,000 in retail sales of Rockford Fosgate products for the hosting retailer.
- Identified strengths of rep firms and sales reps to guide them to their highest potential – several were awarded Rep of the Year for their efforts.
- Signed Fry’s Electronics as an account for the brands Q-Logic and Lightning Audio.
- Signed the toughest specialty retailer in the Pacific Northwest as an account for Rockford Fosgate. Worked closely with the rep to grow this account’s business by 215% between 2004 and 2007.
- Wrote and presented a hands-on training in 2007 for the Mobile Enhancement Retailers Association (M.E.R.A.) on the use of specialized diagnostic equipment. This included defining the curriculum, assembling the workstations, and assembling a support crew to manage over 120 attendees.
